Walter J. Harpel, 88, formerly of Shannondale, died at 7:35 a.m. today in Culver Hospital. He is survived by a sister, Faye Cruea of Crawfordsville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Brigman officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-8 p.m. Thursday.
